At BlobOff, sharing is designed to combine collaboration, flexibility, and control.
You decide not only who can access your files, but also how and when.
1. Invite to Folder – Secure Collaboration
Work together in shared folders, with fine-grained permissions:
- View – read-only access.
- Edit – modify files without deleting.
- Manage – full control of the folder.
Access can be updated or revoked at any time.
Shared folders operate under the same BlobOff logic:
- Available instantly in Instant Mode.
- Or placed into Standby / Deep Offline when you want them hidden from the network.
2. Shared Links – Simple, Controlled Access
Send files to anyone, even if they don’t have a BlobOff account.
- Recipients can view or download directly from any browser.
- Links always point to the latest version of your file.
- Password protection
- Expiration dates
- Download limits
With BlobOff, links are dynamic and secure, never exposing more than you choose.
3. File Requests – Collect Without Exposure
Need to receive files?
- Create a secure request link.
- Recipients upload directly into your BlobOff account.
- They cannot see or access anything else.
Perfect for projects, HR, or client submissions.
4. Direct Links & Public Folder
BlobOff also supports Direct Links for advanced use cases:
- Host static websites.
- Embed images or files in your own pages.
- Share content in a way that behaves like a simple hosting service.
Files placed in your Public Folder are accessible via index directory.
But unlike traditional providers, you can still apply offline rules to control exposure.
