1. Multi-Layer Encryption

  • Transport Layer (TLS/SSL) → all communication between your device and BlobOff is encrypted in transit.
  • Client-Side Encryption → files can be encrypted directly on your device, with keys only you control.
  • Disk-Level Encryption → all stored data is encrypted on the physical disk, even when offline.
  • Management Layer Encryption → metadata, logs, and control signals are protected with separate keys.

This means that even if one layer were compromised, the others would still keep your data safe.

  • Standby Mode → semi-offline, reconnect in 2–5 seconds.
  • Deep Offline → full physical cut, reconnect in ≤20 seconds.
